From pain to power: How I turned my story into a movement.
I was just 18 when the abuse began.
It didn't happen all at once. It started subtly- control disguised as protection, criticism masked as concern. But over time, it grew darker, more isolating, more violent. I lost pieces of myself, bit by bit. I stayed because I thought I had to. I stayed because I was scared. I stayed because I believed I was alone.
When I finally left, I was a single Mum with nothing but my children and a fierce will to survive. No savings, no safety net- just a need to build something from the ground up.
At first, it was just a way to provide. But over time, it became more than that. With every bag I designed, I stitched in a part of my story - resilience, survival, and hope. I created a brand not just to sell fashion, but to speak out. To bring awareness to domestic violence. To show women that survival is possible. That thriving is possible.
Today, my brand is about empowerment. It's about giving women a voice. It's about turning pain into purpose.
I share my story not for pity - but for power. If you're reading this and you're in the dark, I want you to know: you are not alone. You are stronger than you know. And there is life- beautiful, whole, powerful life- on the other side of abuse.
